How to install a sensor inside a chest freezer

In some cases, freezers like chest freezers may not have a clear or visible location to mount or secure a temperature monitoring sensor. In such situations, we recommend considering the following solution:

  1. Plastic Disc Hook

Purchase a plastic hook/cylinder such as this one:

  1. Sikaflex sealant

Apply a Sikaflex sealant to securely attach a plastic hook to the inside of your chest freezer. An ideal location is about halfway between the top and bottom, positioned out of the way of where products will be stored. Once the hook is in place, use a zip tie to secure your temperature monitoring sensor.
