Setting up the TANDA Integration
Overview
Operandio offers an integration with leading payroll & HR solution TANDA.
The integration can automatically synchronise your TANDA employee's to Operandio users. When you onboard a new employee into TANDA, this automatically provisions their user account in Operandio and sends out their invite email.
Enabling the integration
Please ensure you complete the TANDA connection with an administrator level TANDA account to ensure the user synchronisation, and future functionality (shift clock-in/out) will operate correctly. Please note if this TANDA account is disabled on TANDA, this may stop the integration from operating.
Follow these steps to enable the TANDA Integration within your Operandio account.
- Head to the Operandio > Settings > Integrations area and find the TANDA integration in the list.
- Click the Connect TANDA button. You will be redirected to TANDA to authorise the connection.
- Log in with a suitable administrator user to authorise the connection. Please see the note earlier regarding using a suitable administrator account for the connection. You will be redirected back to an enabled integration in Operandio.
Configuring the integration
Now the connection has been established, you will need to configure the integration by clicking on the Configuration tab.
General settings
Default user permission level
Specify a default user permission level when synchronising TANDA employees into Operandio. Leave this blank / none to use the Operandio built-in Employee permission level by default.
Resend expired invites
Resend an Operandio invite to users where the invite has expired and they haven't activated their account.
Check inactive users
Include inactive users when performing synchronisation operations. Users marked inactive in Tanda will be automatically made inactive in Operandio.
Users settings
You won't need to make any changes in here when using the automated user synchronisation.
Locations settings
Use this area to create associations between your TANDA and Operandio location. This allows the user synchronisation to assign access to the correct locations per your TANDA setup.
Enabling user synchronisation
Now everything is configured, you can head to the Advanced tab go ahead and run the user synchronisation.
The following operations are available.
Synchronise Tanda users to Operandio users
This operation:
- Attempts to match your TANDA employees with the existing Operandio users and update their location assignments as required
- Invites new users from TANDA into Operandio with relevant location assignments
Match Tanda employees with existing Operandio users
This operation is like the first step synchronise operation, only use this operation if you only want to match TANDA employees to existing Operandio users, without inviting any new users into the system.
Running operations automatically
We recommend ticking the Run automatically option for Synchronise Tanda users to Operandio users so the operation runs automatically once daily.
