View an Asset

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Quick answer: Go to the Assets in the left navigation bar and select the eye icon next to the asset. Its page has tabs for the asset's details, jobs and maintenance, actions, suppliers, files, accreditations, and activity log. A QR code icon in the top-right corner can be printed and stuck on the equipment so staff can scan it for the asset's details and service history. You'll only see assets for the locations and areas of work you're assigned to.

Open an asset

  1. Go to the Asset view. It lists every asset you have access to.

  2. Select the eye icon on the right of the asset. Its Asset details page opens.

What's on the asset page

The top of the page shows the asset's name, type, areas of work, and location. Below that are seven tabs. If they don't all fit on screen, use the arrows either side to scroll through them.

Use the asset's QR code

Each asset has its own QR code. Select the QR code icon in the top-right corner of the asset's details card to open it.

  1. Print the QR code and attach it to the equipment.

  2. Staff scan it with their phone to open the asset's details, its last service or inspection date, and its job and maintenance history.

Only staff with an Operandio login can view the asset after scanning.

Can't see an asset?

You only see assets for your assigned locations and areas of work. If one is missing, ask your manager to check your assignments and that the asset exists in the Asset Manager.
