Branding and customising your Operandio account
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Overview
You can white label Operandio so it looks and feels like your own business. Admins can change the platform name, logos and brand colours, then customize the home dashboard with a banner image and their own layout.
Branding changes are made in Settings > Company. Dashboard changes are made from the Customize button on the home dashboard. Both apply to every user in your account.
What's on the dashboard
The home dashboard, also called the Network Dashboard & Resource Hub, is the first thing your team sees when they log in. It brings together tasks, news, campaigns and resources in one place, styled in your brand colours.
Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
Banner | Your banner image, with today's date, your account name and number of locations |
Tasks for your attention | Outstanding items, such as open actions, with a link through to Tasks |
Quick Links | Shortcuts to areas like Jobs, Actions, Posts and Knowledge Base |
What's On | Your current campaigns, with image, dates and a short description |
Recent News | The latest posts from Communications |
Recent Activity | A live feed of completed jobs and training, filtered by All feeds, Jobs or Training |
Contacts | Key staff profiles with their contact details |
Content blocks | Videos, images and text you add, such as promos or announcements |
Personal panel (right-hand side)
Each user sees their own greeting and status, their training progress, accreditations, recently viewed items and personal links. Admins can also add content blocks to this column, such as a support or help link.
Changing your company logo
Operandio uses three images for your brand. Each is set separately on the Company settings page.
Image | Where it appears | Recommended format |
|---|---|---|
Company logo | Your company profile and account details | Square (1:1), JPEG, PNG or GIF, up to 1080 × 1080 px |
Application icon | Top-left corner of the app, next to your hub name | Square (1:1), JPEG, PNG or GIF. Switch on Use landscape format for a wide logo |
Favicon | The small icon on the browser tab | Square (1:1), PNG, 96 × 96 px |
Click your initials in the top-right corner, then select Settings.
Select Company from the settings menu.
Under Company logo, click Update and choose your logo file.
Scroll to Application icon, click Update and choose the logo you want in the top-left of the app. If your logo is wide rather than square, switch on Use landscape format.
Under Favicon, click Update and choose a small square PNG version of your logo.
Click Save. You'll see an Organisation updated confirmation.
While you're here, you are also able to update the Display name under Theming. This is the name that shows on the browser tab and in the app navigation.
Changing your brand colours
Your account uses two brand colours, entered as hex codes under Theming in Settings > Company.
Colour | What it changes |
|---|---|
Primary colour | Accents and inputs across the app, such as buttons and the New button in the navigation |
Secondary colour | Accents in area icons |
Use your brand's hex codes.
In Settings > Company, scroll to Theming.
Paste your main brand colour into Primary Color, for example 23150E.
Paste your accent colour into Secondary Color, for example F06436.
Click Save. The new colours apply straight away.
Try a couple of combinations before you settle. A darker primary colour usually keeps buttons and text easy to read, with a brighter brand colour as the secondary accent.
Adding a dashboard banner image
A banner image sits across the top of the home dashboard, with the date and location shown over it. Use a wide image of 2360 × 1011 px (21:9 ratio) in JPEG or PNG format.
Go to your Home dashboard and click Customize in the top-right of the header.
A notice confirms you're editing the global dashboard for your company. Changes here apply to all staff.
In the Add banner image area at the top, click the pencil icon and choose your image.
Check how the image sits in the banner, then click Apply.
Click Save in the Save changes to this dashboard? bar at the bottom of the screen.
Choose an image without text or logos near the bottom-left corner, as that's where the date and location appear. Photos of your food, team or venue work well.
Rearranging the dashboard layout
The dashboard is built from rows, and each row holds blocks such as Quick Links, What's On and Recent Activity. In Customize mode you can add, edit, move and remove both.
Rows
Use the up and down arrows above a row to move it higher or lower on the page.
Use the layout icons beside the arrows to switch the row between one and two columns.
Click the bin icon to delete the row.
Click Add row at the bottom of the dashboard to start a new row.
Blocks
Drag a block by its handle (the dotted icon beside its name) to move it to a new position or column. A “Drop blocks here” area shows where it will land.
Click the pencil icon on a block to edit it, or the bin icon to remove it.
Click Add block under any column to add a new block.
When you click Add block, choose from these block types:
Block | What it shows |
|---|---|
Quick Links | A list of customisable internal and external links |
Communications | Recent and important posts |
People | A selection of staff profiles |
Recent Activity | A feed of recent activity across Operandio |
Content Block | Video, image and text content |
Campaigns | Recent campaigns with image and text content |
Leaderboard | A ranked leaderboard of top-performing locations or regions |
Adding a content block
Content blocks are a good way to share a promo video, a loyalty program or a new menu item with your team.
Click Add block and select Content Block.
Drag and drop an image or video, or click to select a file.
Optionally add a Navigation URL so staff can click through to a website or video.
Enter a Title and the Content text.
Click Add.
Adding a leaderboard
A leaderboard adds some friendly competition by ranking your top-performing locations or regions.
Click Add block and select Leaderboard.
Enter a Title, for example Top stores this week.
Choose a Metric, such as Jobs.
Choose what to Group by, such as Location.
Choose a Time period, such as Past week.
Click Add.
When you've finished, click Save in the Save changes to this dashboard? Bar.
Click Cancel to discard your changes.
Tips and troubleshooting
Only admins can make these changes. If you can't see the Company settings or the Customize button, ask an account administrator for access.
Changes apply to everyone. Branding and the global dashboard are shared by all staff in your account, so check with your team before making big changes.
Logo looks squashed or cut off? Use a square image for the company logo and favicon. For a wide application icon, switch on Use landscape format.
Don't forget to save. Settings changes need Save at the bottom of the Company page, and dashboard changes need Save in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Want to fill the What's On block? It shows your active campaigns, as does the Campaigns block. Create them in Communications > Campaigns with a cover image, start and end dates and a title.
